Tuckshop project protects children from unsafe migration

A tuckshop project that is being run by the Child Protection Committee (CPC) at Langeni Primary School in Beitbridge District has made great impact in the lives of nine vulnerable children at the school who were struggling to remain in school owing to lack of school fees, through payment of their school fees using proceeds from the project.

Unaccompanied children deserve protection

Save the Children Zimbabwe hosted the regional Knowledge Exchange and Learning conference on unaccompanied migrant children, in Beitbridge town from 28 to 30 August 2017. The conference which was aimed at sharing and learning from country experiences in promoting the protection of separated and unaccompanied migrant children was attended by 38 representatives from countries in the Southern Africa region

Victim Friendly Unit Officers trained in Online Safety

Harare: Members of the police force's Victim Friendly Unit went through some training on Online Safety for Childrent and the role of the police in the keeping children safe online. The three day training was jointly organized by Save the Children and the Zimbabwe Republic Police.
